Nervovita Medical Technologies participated in IFESS 2026 alongside tVNS Health. The conference took place in Lecco, Italy, from 2 to 4 September 2026.
Held at the Lecco Campus of Politecnico di Milano, the conference brought together researchers, physicians, physiotherapists, and engineers to explore recent developments in functional electrical stimulation, neuromodulation, neuroplasticity, and neurorehabilitation.
Under the theme “From Lab to Life: Supporting Neuroplasticity and Wellbeing through Emerging Electrical Stimulation Technologies,” we presented tVNS® and discussed the role of non-invasive auricular vagus nerve stimulation in research and clinical practice.
The conference programme featured a spotlight presentation titled “Shaping the Future of Non-Invasive Neuromodulation: From tVNS Research to Clinical Practice.” The presentation explored the fundamental principles of tVNS®, its translation from research settings into clinical practice, and its development for patient-centred home use.
Throughout IFESS 2026, we met with scientists, clinicians, and rehabilitation professionals from various countries to discuss the future of neuromodulation and explore opportunities for scientific collaboration.
